Kungsgatan in Stockholm has undergone a renovation in recent years to regain some of its original grandeur, as part of this development, restaurant Holy Greens has established itself at Kungsgatan 17 in a building designed by Ivar Tengbom in 1917.

In conjunction with the renovation of the restaurant space, the entire building was also renovated, including the reinstallation of the large glass panels on the ground floor.

The space is long and narrow, with the shorter side facing the street. Large rectangular concrete columns divide the room and highlight the generous ceiling height. The restaurant interior centers around a couple of large, room-defining oak furniture pieces that organize the space and separate circulation areas from the dining room. The heavy concrete columns are accentuated by through a new distinctive dark green tiling.
