In an inner courtyard in Vasastan, the Blank HQ is located in the office section of an old print workshop. The space is long and narrow with the long side facing the facade with plenty of light but no direct sunlight thanks to its north-east orientation.
The space has been reorganized, making it more open and clearly oriented towards the light. A closed volume at the rear contains a small kitchen, a bathroom, and a closet. Facing the facade is a large, elongated workspace and a separate square meeting room.
A seven-meter-long table made of oak laminate runs along the facade. Galvanized steel bookshelves decorate three of the walls. The ceiling exposes the in situ concrete slab. The furniture is a mix of inexpensive new purchases, second-hand finds, and custom designs.
